Kiwi-born Penny met Vito in London and together they returned to Dunedin with their entrepreneurial spirit and passion for pasta. They founded Pasta d'Oro in 1987 and their authentic home-style Italian pasta has found its niche in many restaurant kitchens. Pasta d'Oro quickly built a reputation for its quality service and reliability, working closely with the food service industry to create products that perform to the high expectations of busy chefs.
